The three images above attempt to detail the minor crack in the back of the case. The crack runs vertically on the back of the pendulum box. This crack is approximately 1/16 inch. The first image above left shows the crack. The second image above center shows the minor impact on the front of the clock. It appears on the rear molding (black arrow). There is also just a slight separation of the case at the back corner (white arrow). The image above right shows no crack in the top part of the case.

   

The decoration (fretwork) on the throat of the clock has developed some slight cracking as shown in the image at the right. It is not peeling because the decoration is backed with what appears to be either gesso or heavy paper.
